At 23 feet long and weighing in at 1,510 pounds, the ICON A5 is considered a sea light-sport aircraft. Designed with manoeuvrability in mind, the plane was built with a greater focus on the freedom of flying, rather than the precision required in traditional aircraft. The company have opened a flight-training facility at Peter O. Knight Airport in California, as well an additional centre in Vacaville. The aircraft has been 10 years in development and is available for a deposit of $207,000.
