The awaited return of Kyrie Irving to Boston, now a member of the Dallas Mavericks, is reported to be one of the NBA Finals’ most captivating narratives. His intention to knock off his old team in a bid for an NBA championship has caught significant attention.

Irving’s departure from Boston dates back to the aftermath of the 2016-17 season when he was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers. After his two seasons with the Boston Celtics, he bid farewell and signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets, an unplanned movement that left many disappointed.
