They reviewed press releases, newsletters, and posts on social media platforms over the past decade for the use of terms like “Soros,” “globalist,” and “globalism.” These terms are often seen as dog whistles for antisemitism. The analysis also looked at campaign emails from former President Donald J. Trump.
Computer analysis techniques were used to study extremist websites and podcasts discussing Soros and globalists. The Anti-Defamation League provided transcripts of podcasts mentioning these topics.
