Gov. Kristi Noem, a Republican from South Dakota, has released a highly anticipated book titled “No Going Back” that delves into her leadership role and experiences in Washington D.C. politics. The book discusses her life lessons from her family farming business, time in congress, and current role as Governor, generating buzz even before its official release.

In the book, Noem expresses strong support for former President Donald Trump, whom she describes as a “bull in a china shop.” Trump had previously considered her for the vice presidential position. One excerpt from the book that drew controversy was about the Governor euthanizing her hunting dog, Cricket, which had exhibited aggressive behavior.

Noem also shares a tense encounter with former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, where she felt “threatened” by Haley’s political motivations. Despite facing criticism from both sides of the aisle for her actions, Noem defends her decisions, emphasizing the need to prioritize human safety above all else.

Looking ahead, Noem reflects on the Republican losses in the 2022 midterms and advocates for moving the country forward instead of dwelling on past political norms. Her book, set to be officially launched on May 7th, aims to inspire everyday Americans to contribute to positive change in the nation’s political landscape.
