Actor Martin Lawrence reassured the public of his good health, following speculations about his wellbeing. These concerns emerged after the 59-year-old actor’s recent public appearances. During the promotion of their new movie “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die” on HOT 97 radio show, Ebro in the Morning, Lawrence declared, “I’m fine, I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed. I’m glad to be waking up every day.” He was accompanied by co-star Will Smith for the promotion.
The speculation stemmed from the Los Angeles premiere of the film last week, where Smith was seen leading Lawrence by the hand. Fans have also commented on Lawrence’s seemingly slow speech in a recent interview with ExtraTV. This is not the first time Lawrence’s health has been in the spotlight. In 1999, he was hospitalized for an apparent heat stroke.
Despite the concerns, Lawrence is set to embark on a new comedy tour this July. He promised his fans “brand new jokes and some wild surprises.” Meanwhile, “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die” will be hitting theaters on Friday.
