A pizza lover from Connecticut, who swears his fervor for the dish exceeds anything else in the world, has reportedly been relishing at least a slice per day for the past six years. Sources reveal that Kenny Wildes, who is so intrigued by pizza that he’s made a career shift echoing his passion, has not shown any signs of reducing his pizza intake.

The long-standing passion for pizza sprung from a dare, as Wildes explained. In his previous job maintaining heating and cooling systems, Wildes and his colleague spent most of their time on the road. Pizza was an accessible and quick option for meals during work. Upon being dared by his colleague to eat pizza daily for a week, and later, for a month, Wildes realized his capacity to prolong the challenge.

Wildes, who grew up with a pizzeria-owner father, commits daily to his pizza-centric routine, often consuming an entire pizza. He makes sure to get his pizza fix even during holidays when local pizzerias are closed, or on special occasions like his wedding day, when he ensured pizza was on the menu for everyone.

Surprisingly, despite his pizza-heavy diet, Wildes stays fit, attributing this to his metabolic rate. His pizza habits caught the attention of a pizza box company, subsequently leading to an opportunity to work as a full-time salesman. This opportunity not only exemplifies the perfect blend of passion and work for Wildes, but also allows him to taste various types of pizzas from across the country.

Wildes has a particular fondness for thick, crispy, and chewy crust pizzas from New Haven. Despite having tried an array of unique toppings, he prefers classic deep-pan pepperoni or a plain margherita pizza.

Considering family meal dynamics, Wildes aims to quench his pizza cravings during lunch hours, so as to share a more typical dinner with his family. However, he always has room for leftovers.

Even his former colleague, who pushed him into the pizza odyssey, is amazed and amused by Wildes’ sustained commitment to the dare. Wildes mentions that his intention is purely dictated by his love for pizza. He pledges to continue this streak as long as the enthusiasm remains, relishing every bite of his ongoing pizza adventure.
