Educational Journey and Professional AchievementPersonal Interests and FamilyMourning and Remembrance

On Wednesday, November 14, 2007, Linda Thebom, a respected resident of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away. During her prolonged illness, she was comforted by her devoted husband, Tom, and her nurse, Kelly Lancette. Born in Miami, Florida on February 25, 1947, Linda was the cherished daughter of Albert and Patricia Graziano.

Educational Journey and Professional Achievement

Linda completed her educational journey at Florida Atlantic College, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree. She devoted 34 years of her life to teaching middle and high school students. Her notable teaching career began in Miami, where she lived for 59 years before relocating to Dahlonega in 2006.

Her influence as an educator was profound, as indicated by her recognition as “Teacher of the Year” thrice. Adept at teaching English and Journalism, she was also instrumental in the production of yearbooks and newspapers for most of the schools where she taught.

Personal Interests and Family

Outside of her professional life, Linda cherished thrifting and crafting exquisite handmade jewelry. Her home was invariably filled with thrifted treasures, her own unique jewelry creations, tantalizing Italian cuisine, and an ambiance of love and care. Along with her husband, Tom, she is survived by her parents, Albert and Patricia Graziano, her sisters Pattie Pirone and Jan Graziano, her brother Robert Graziano, and numerous other relatives.

Mourning and Remembrance

A memorial service to honor Linda’s life will be conducted at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 1, 2007. In place of flowers, Linda’s wish was for donations to be made to H.E.L.P. Miami, 13828 SW 56 Street, Miami, Florida. She held a deep affinity for this educational institution and its mission.
